What this site is

Decathecting is a reflective writing project. We publish essays, quote cards, and printable journals for people working through endings, grief, burnout, and starting over. This is not therapy, medical advice, or crisis support.

Digital products

When you purchase a journal, you receive a personalized printable PDF for personal use. You may print it or use it on a tablet. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the PDF with others.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms for payment processing.

The Sunday Letter

The Sunday Letter is a free email subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

Your responsibility

Journal prompts are for private reflection only. If you are in crisis, please contact a local crisis line or licensed professional. Decathecting is not equipped to provide emergency support.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
